As the owner of this company, this was the very first karambit that I owned. I was interested in purchasing the Fox 479 karambit, however I had never spent that much money on a knife before. Once I spent time carrying this around, watched a bunch of videos on youtube, learning both of the grip styles, how to open and close it, and getting a feel for the grip and functionality; I felt more comfortable upgrading to our high quality best seller - The Fox 479 karambit featuring the Emerson Wave. The Emerson Wave instant opening feature (allows the knife to automatically open as it is removed from your pocket) makes ALL of the difference in the world for having a proper every day carry karambit. After carrying the Fox 479, I was so impressed that I decided to start this business.
In the knife industry, price is closely related to quality. This is why our website is completely devoid of any other knives under 10 dollars. We do not encourage the use of cheap budget knives for self defense situations that can fail/break when you need it the most. DO NOT trust your life to a $10 knife.
